Admissions process

We accept students of all nationalities and applications are accepted year-round. Most communication will happen through email, phone, or virtual meetings — but we encourage you to visit us in person! Our Admissions Team will gladly give you a tour of our facilities, introduce you to our Academic Team, and help you experience our welcoming community.

Step 1: Application

• Submit an online application via online and upload all the required documents.
• Pay the application fee (upfront, non-refundable) to initiate the application review process.

Step 2: Preparation of Documents

Prepare the following documents — all are required to complete your application:

• Completed application form
• Copy of each parent’s passport or Thai ID card
• Passport-size digital photos of both parents and the applicant
• Copy of the child’s passport or Thai birth certificate (for Thai citizens)
• Copy of the Non-immigrant “Ed” visa (for foreign students)
• Copy of Thai residence registration (for Thai citizens)
• Copy of previous school records
• Health form with detailed information
• Special academic or evaluation reports (if applicable)

(Note: All documents must be in English. If not, a certified English translation is required. Parents must upload all required documents to the online application platform using the checklist provided by XCL American School of Bangkok.)

Step 3: Application Review

Submitted applications will be reviewed by the enrollment team and the Academic leadership team. Some applicants may be invited to sit for an English language proficiency or other assessment and/or attend a family meeting with the Academic leadership team. Our Admissions team will take care of all the arrangements.

Step 4: Offer

Successful applicants will receive an official offer letter from the school’s Admissions department as part of the application process, you will be required to pay an upfront, non-refundable enrollment and school fees upon receiving the offer letter.

Step 5: Enrollment

Once all documents and fees are submitted, your family is all set to begin your learning journey at ASB! You’ll receive a Welcome Information Deck and be ready to go.
