Nursery – Year 1 (Ages 3 – 6)

A session with Principal (duration: 30mins)

Years 2 – 3 (Ages 6 – 8)

A session with the Principal, including reading and writing (Duration: approximately 1 hour)

Years 4 – 6 (Ages 8-11)

• Stage 1 (duration: 1.5-2 hours): CAT4 assessment to be completed with invigilation by Registrar.
• Stage 2 (duration: 30mins): An interview with Principal, including reading and writing.

The assessments are designed to need no special preparation and it is intended that they will be a positive experience for each child. It is understood that children will have had different experiences and varied levels of English; the assessments attempt to measure a child’s potential to learn and develop.

Years 7 – 12 (Ages 11 – 17)

• Stage 1 (duration: 1.5-2 hours): CAT4 exam to be completed with invigilation by Registrar.
• Stage 2 (duration: 15 mins): An interview with Principal.
