Entry Requirements

1. Kindergarten

Kindergarten at SIS caters to students from Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten

• Kindergarten Preparedness

2. Primary School

Primary School at SIS caters to students from Grades 1 to Grades 5.

• Completion of prior grade
• Readiness assessment in English and Mathematics (Grade 4 onwards)
• Appropriate school age

3. Secondary School

IBMYP at SIS covers Grades 6 to 10. This is offered at our current campus located in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri.

• Completion of prior grade
• Readiness assessment in English and Mathematics (Grade 4 onwards)
• Appropriate school age

4. Pre-University

SIS welcomes students who have completed their SPM, IGCSE, O Levels, OSSD Grade 10, or equivalent to apply for the internationally renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme (IBCP). It is a pre-university programme that also grants admissions to universities worldwide.

• Completion of SPM, IGCSE, O Levels, OSSD Grade 10, or equivalent
• Readiness assessment in English and Mathematics
• Appropriate school age (16-19 years old)
• Interview(s)

Intake

The academic year starts in January, but admissions are accepted all year round. Please check with our Admission Office for more info on the final commencement date.

Admissions Process

Step 1: Application

• Submit the completed application form, application fee and all required documents to the following address. Information on payment instructions can be found here.

Step 2: Readiness Assessment (Grade 4 onwards)

• Applicants who enrol for Grade 4 and above are required to meet the minimum requirements in English and Mathematics, to gauge their eligibility for the grade applied.
• Applicants will be contacted for a readiness assessment and confirm the schedule with the Admission Office.

Step 3: Admissions

• Applicants who satisfy the admission requirements will be offered a place of study in writing.
• Successful applicants are required to accept the admission offer and make the necessary payments to secure a place.
