For applicants in Grades 1-12, within 3-7 business days after the assessment and with the condition that the applicant has submitted all required documentation and meets the entrance level of the English Language Proficiency test, the Admissions Office will contact the parents and applicant to set up an interview with the school Principal. Where possible we strongly encourage both parents to attend the interview.
Review of Application
Each application is reviewed by the school Principal and the Director of Admissions and Communications, who, if necessary, will seek additional comments from other school-level educators as appropriate. All decisions are based on a careful review of the applicant's school records, English language proficiency and the school's ability to meet the student’s needs within its existing programs.
Decisions
Within three business days after the interview date, the school will send a formal letter with the admissions decision to the applicant's family.
There are 3 possible decisions for every application:
- Acceptance: If an applicant is qualified and there is space available, a formal letter of acceptance (Offer Letter) is issued. If enrollment is offered, parents must sign the Offer Letter and send it back to the Admissions Office with a payment of the registration fee within seven business days (this fee is non-refundable and is not deductible from the tuition fee). After the seven-day period, the Offer Letter will expire, and the school may offer the applicant’s place to another student. All tuition payments must be cleared before the first day of classes.
- Wait-List: When the number of eligible applicants exceeds the availability of spaces for a particular grade level, students may be placed in a wait pool until space becomes available.
- No place offered: If an applicant does not meet our admissions criteria the applicant is eligible to re-apply after 6 months (the application fee will apply at a discount of 50% within a 7-month period). After 7 months, the applicant must begin the application process again and pay the full application fee.
Confirm Enrollment
Students who have been accepted will need to sign the Offer Letter, submit all the required documents and complete the payment within 7 days.
