Admission to Reception classes

The application period for entry to reception in September is now open. If your child was born between 1 September of last fifth year and 31 August of its next year, you can apply now.

• The deadline for applications is 15th January. Late applications will only be processed after all on time applicants have received an offer
• Please read the Admission to Primary Schools in Bexley before commencing your application
• If you do not live in Bexley, please contact your home Local Authority to find out how to apply, you can apply for Bexley schools, but on the form supplied by your home Local Authority

Applications online

• Please try to apply online, it is simple and secure. Applications are available online.
• Documents can be uploaded securely, and attached to your application once submitted

Applications on a paper form

• Paper application forms are available on request from the Local Authority.

National offer day will take place on 16th April. If you apply online, you will receive the outcome by email on the evening of 16th April. Offers to paper applicants will be made by letter, posted on national offer day by first class mail.

Please note: there is NO automatic transfer from our Nursery to our Reception classes. You MUST apply to the Local Authority for a place by 15th January. Deadline for applications is 15th January.

Admission to Nursery Classes

Many schools in Bexley have nursery classes, and children can start when they are three or four years old, in the year before they are due to start Reception. In September Children born between 1 September of last third year and 31 August of its next year will start nursery classes.

• From 18 January, apply online for children born between 1 September of last fourth year and 31 August of its next year
• Closing date is 6 April
• Outcome will be available on 17 May
• Paper forms and the Admission to nursery classes booklet will be available from January
