For applications in the normal admissions round (primary school to secondary school transfer), parents/carers should use the application form provided by your home Local Authority (regardless of which Local Authority the schools you wish to apply to are in), you will then be able to access the application form for your Local Authority.
For applications outside the normal admissions round, parents/carers should make an in-year admission application.
If you have applied for a place at Kingsbury High School but have not received a place, you have the right to appeal against the decision to an independent appeals panel.
The deadline for lodging an appeal is 30 March. On-time appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging the appeal. Late appeals will be held, where possible, within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
Parents will receive at least 10 school days' notice of their appeal hearing and are required to submit evidence at least five school days before the date of the hearing; evidence received outside this timeframe may not be considered.
In-year admissions appeals will be held within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
To appeal, you should contact the Admissions Officer and request an Appeals Notification Form.
