Admission to Reception, Infants and Juniors
Pupils are admitted to School between the ages of 4 and 11 years; most of our Nursery students progress to our Reception Class but we also have external Reception places available.
On your visit to Laleham Lea we will provide a tour where you will meet with our Head Teacher who will be happy to show you the ‘Laleham Lea Journey’. Our team of staff is highly skilled, experienced and dedicated and are looking forward to meeting you. A non-refundable registration fee of £100 should accompany all applications for admission.
Following receipt of your application, we will invite your child to enjoy as Taster Day with us to ensure we can meet their individual needs and informal assessments will be undertaken during the day. Those children entering at Year 3 and above are asked to take a short test in English and Mathematics as part of their Taster Day.
We will also ask you to provide all relevant information, reports and examples of work from your child’s previous/current school/s when they come in for their Taster.
Offer of a School Place
An acceptance fee (deposit) of £500 per child is payable on formal acceptance of a School place. All deposits are fully refundable provided there are no fees or charges outstanding and the Terms and Conditions of notice of withdrawal have been adhered to.

Admission to Nursery
Prospective pupils may be registered for admission to Nursery at any time after birth; children can join the Nursery in the term in which they reach their third birthday.
You are welcome to visit our Nursery at any time. During your visit you will enjoy a tour of our excellent facilities meet the Nursery students and our Nursery Team. We have highly skilled and experienced staff who will take time to explain the EYFS Curriculum with you and show how these early stages of learning are developed here at Laleham Lea.
To help you make an informed decision we will work with you to look at the Nursery sessions that best suit you and your child. The application process will be explained to you following your tour and you will also have the opportunity to register your child for a Reception place (to avoid disappointment at a later stage).
To register your child for a Nursery place, please return the Nursery Registration Form and non-refundable registration Fee (£100) to the School Office.
