The Cedars School

The Cedars School is an independent day school offering an all-round education to boys aged 11-18. The Catholic ethos influences all aspects of school life and is underpinned by the PACT Charter of Educational Principles which emphasises the important role that parents have to play as the first educators of their children.

• Normal points of entry to the school are at 11+, 13+ and Sixth Form. Occasionally, places are available in other year groups.
• The application fee payment of £100 must be made via the payment platform before your application will be processed.

References will be sought from the applicant’s current school.

Interview
All prospective parents and pupils are invited to an interview at the school.

Assessment
Prospective pupils sit an Entrance Examination consisting of papers in Mathematics and English. Sample papers are available to download from the website. Although academic aptitude is considered when places are offered, places are not necessarily offered in rank order as other factors, outlined in the Admissions Policy, are also taken into account. • Current Students need only complete the Sixth Form Supplementary Form
• External Applicants should follow the School Admissions process and complete the Sixth Form Supplementary Form
