The Holmewood School welcomes students aged seven (KS2) to 19 years old with a range of learning differences associated with autism who are of average or above average cognitive ability and those that may have mild cognitive impairments
We are registered for up to 80 students across our sites; the Lower School (KS2 and KS3) is based in Woodside Park and our Upper School (KS4 and Sixth Form) is located in Muswell Hill.
All of our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which allows families to seek financial funding from their Local Authority however, a statutory statement is not a requirement for admissions.
Applications can be supported by independent assessment reports relevant to the individual. Our school does not discriminate between different social, cultural, ethnic or religious backgrounds, but actively embraces and celebrates these differences.
Our focus is to provide experiences that parallel the mainstream provision with the additional focus on therapeutic programmes and a heavy emphasis on wellbeing, social skills and life skills.
We invite all enquiries and work together with all families to ensure that we are the right choice for your child.
