St Michael’s C of E Primary School is a Christian school for the community.
We welcome children whose families attend a church or other faith institution, as well as those who live in the school’s locality.
We changed our Admissions Policy in September: we now give as many points for living in the area as for regular attendance at church.
We are seeking a balance between those who come from a Christian background and those living in the area who may come from other faith backgrounds or have no faith background.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and faith traditions. We do, however, expect that everyone who comes to St Michael’s will be fully supportive of the school as a Christian foundation.
Before calling the school with an admissions query, please ensure you have filled out and submitted the Supplementary Information Form, found on the next few pages, so that our admissions officer can give you the best advice.
Children start nursery in the September following their 3rd birthday and will turn 4 within the academic year. We offer full-time (30hrs) and part-time (15hrs) places in our Nursery. If you wish to apply it is necessary to complete the School’s supplementary information form (SIF) available below.
The Religious Leader’s section is not obligatory, unless you attend a place of worship. If you attend St Michael’s church please enter the details and the school will liaise with the church directly. For all other places of worship the parent will need to ensure this section of the form is completed and signed before handing it in to the school office.
Please submit the school’s supplementary information form directly to the school only.
