Apply For A Place

We can't wait to meet you! There are two entry pathways into our school. For our Nursery, you apply directly to us. For a place from Reception to Year 6, applications are made via the council. Follow the links below to the right path for you.

However you are applying, please do call us to let us know. We can support you through every stage of your application. We know what an important choice school is for you and your child. Contact us and please let us help.

We run regular school tours for prospective parents, where you can see the school and find out about everything we do here from the Headteacher.

Nursery Applications

All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for 15 hours of nursery or childcare, and some working families are eligible for 30 hours. We offer both 15 and 30 hours places to children in the term after their third birthday.

15 hours nursery

If you are not eligible for 30 hours, or do not wish to apply, you do not need register online, and your child can attend nursery for 15 hours (half day). We offer 15 hours as morning and afternoon sessions:

  • Morning sessions: Start at 8:45 End at 11:45
  • Afternoon sessions: Start at 12:45 End at 3:45

These times are slightly outside the normal school day to allow parents with children in other classes the flexibility to drop off and collect all their children easily. We will allow some flexibility around the end of the day, and parents will be able to drop off their child for the morning session between 8:45-9:00, and collect from the afternoon session from 3:30pm.

If you are not eligible for 30 hours but would like your child to attend for more than 15 hours, you will be able to pay to top up.

30 hours nursery

To be eligible for 30 hours of nursery, both parents must be earning, or expect to earn, the equivalent of 16 hours at National Minimum or Living Wage, and up to a maximum of £100,000. To apply for 30 hours you need to have checked your eligibility online, after which you will be issued with an 11 digit ‘eligibility code’. You will need to bring this code into school so that we can verify it with the local authority before we can process your application. Please remember to check your eligibility online.

We offer 30 hours in two ways

  • Core full day: 8:45am to 3:45pm (with some flexibility about drop off and pick up times as outlined above)
  • Extended day: 8am to 6pm on three days (parents will be able to choose which days, subject to availability)
  • Parents will be able to pay to top up their hours should they require it.
