How to apply to Minet Infant School

Admissions to our school for Reception to Year 2 is dealt with by the Admissions Department at Hillingdon Council. Applications must be made via the authority in which you pay your council tax.

Children start in our nursery after their 3rd birthday and the school year runs from 1st September until 31st August. To apply for a Nursery place, please contact the school directly on 020 8573 5177 or collect a form from the School Office. The admission arrangements for the current academic year have been determined.

Nursery Applications

Nursery applications are made directly to the school.

The school has morning, afternoon and full time (30 hours) places available. Full times places are available to eligible children free of charge (parents/ carers need to provide the school with a 30 hours eligibility code - see below for further information) or parents/ carers can pay an hourly charge to top-up the hours.

Once your child is 2 years old you can place your child on our Nursery waiting list. We normally offer places in the September before their 4th birthday.

To apply for your child’s Reception place for the first time in September, you will need to apply directly to Hillingdon Borough Council.

Please note: you will need to accept the offer via the Local Authority to secure your child’s place. Our school will contact those parents/carers who have accepted the places to arrange admission in September.
