How to apply to The Children’s Centre

• Nursery places for children aged 6 months to 3 years.
• We offer places in out baby and toddler bases for children until the term after their 3rd birthday.
• We are open from 8am until 6pm including most of the school holidays.

Come in and pick up an application form and return it to the school. Download the form here and return it to the school or email to admin@robertblair.islington.sch.uk

ADMISSIONS TO RECEPTION AND YEAR 1-6

All applications for Reception Class places at Robert Blair are dealt with by Islington admissions.

School admissions

Key Dates

• 15th January – application deadline (We recommend you apply by 12 January, just in case there are any problems with getting online or logging into the site.)
• 16th April – offer day. You will be notified of your result via the e-admissions website. The result of your application will be from 5pm. You can also accept your place immediately through e-admissions.

In-Year admissions must be applied for online at www.islington.gov.uk/admissions

The school will be notified by email that you have applied for an in-year place. The school office will then make contact to arrange a meeting to discuss the admission further. If accepted, you will need to complete all paperwork and provide relevant documentation prior to your child starting. It is essential that the school has everything in place before a child starts Robert Blair to ensure a smooth transition. You will then be taken for a tour of the school and introduced to your child’s class and class teacher (if available).
