Brampton Manor Academy is part of Brampton Manor Trust.

The staff, governing body and pupils of Brampton Manor Academy would welcome you applying for a place at our school. To do this you must follow the correct process for your child’s age as detailed below.

We are an academy which means we are our own admission authority but have adopted the London Borough of Newham’s admission arrangements and processes to ensure continuity across the borough.

All applications for this school must be made through London Borough of Newham’s Pupil Services, not through Brampton Manor Academy.

Please Note

• All children inclusive must apply for a school place at Brampton Manor Academy through the London Borough of Newham or your home local authority.
• National closing date for on time year 7 applications 31st October
• National offer date for on time year 7 applicants 1st March

In Year or Mid-Phase Admissions

• If a family arrives in Newham during the school year and their child needs a school place they must complete an In Year form naming their preferred schools.

• School places are usually offered within 10 days.
• The place offered may not be at the school the family prefers as that school may not have a suitable place available.

How to Apply

Our online application portal will open on Thursday 11th January 2024. In order to be considered for a place for September 2024 students must submit their application by Friday 10th February 2024. We will give an update to all applicants who have submitted on-time applications (including complete references) on the status of their application by Thursday 28th March 2024. If your application has been successful, you will be able to visit the school in person on our induction days in the last week of June.

In order to be considered for a place you must meet the following minimum entry conditions.

• 6.5 Average Points Score across all GCSEs.
• Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and English Language.

Please note that significantly higher grades than the minimum are likely to be required to secure a place.
