The staff, governing body and pupils of Ravenscroft Primary School would welcome you applying for a place at our school. To do this you must follow the correct process for your child's age as detailed below.

Ravenscroft Primary School is part of The Boleyn Trust. The Boleyn Trust have agreed to adopt the London Borough of Newham's Admission Arrangements for September to ensure continuity across the Borough. For more information click on this link - Determined Admission Arrangements

All applications for this school must be made through London Borough of Newham's Pupil Services, not through the school.

Whether you are looking to change schools, apply for a place in our Reception or wanting to know more about applying for a secondary school place:

Reception Admission for September  entry

• In Newham, all children start Primary School (Reception) in the school year in which they have their 5th birthday. their parents/carers will need to apply for a Reception class place in an infant or primary school for September entry.
• In the term before your child's admission is due, you will hear from Newham to let you know whether a place is available or not. If you are offered a place, write or call to accept the place as soon as possible. After this, the Education Department inform us and then we will contact you to arrange an admissions interview.
• All Reception applications must be made through the family's home local authority.
• For children living in Newham, families must apply via the London Borough of Newham.
• For children living outside Newham, whose family wants them to attend this school, their application must be made through their home borough naming this school as a preference on their application.

Remember, parents/carers must apply for a Reception place in this school, even if the child

• attends our Nursery
• has a brother or sister attending this school
