The standard Admission Number is 240 for Years 7-11. In recent years the school has been substantially over subscribed.
The majority of Year 11 students at Drayton Manor apply for a place in Year 12 of the Sixth Form. A significant number gain admission.
Further information can be found in our Sixth Form prospectus published annually in October in the Sixth Form section. For all sixth form enquiries please email: sixthformadmissions@draytonmanorhighschool.co.uk
Further guidance on admissions and a printable copy of the admissions policy is available.
Parents and students of the new Year 7 intake are invited to attend a meeting at the school where the school philosophy, expectations, the Home School Agreement and routines are explained.
For main round Year 7 applications apply through the LA by contacting Ealing Council Main Round Admission.
If you would like a place for your child during the academic year, please read the Admissions Protocol.
Before new students start in September they are invited into Drayton Manor. During this time they meet the Head of Year, tutors and other teachers and take part in some lessons. Early in the autumn term parents are invited to the school to meet with the tutor and senior staff to discuss their child's progress. Later, spread over the year, there is a progress check, a full parents' evening and a formal report on each student's progress.
If you wish to make an appeal you will need to submit the Application to Appeal form directly to the clerk of the Independent Appeal Panel.
If your child is leaving Drayton Manor High School, please complete the form as fully as possible and return it to main reception. Your child will not be removed from the school roll until the completed form is received. A letter or email notifying the school that your child is leaving will not be sufficient.
