Register

Once you have decided that Faraday is the right school for your child please follow this link to register. Our Registrar, Stefanie Harvey will be happy to help if you have any queries regarding the form. Please contact her on 0208 965 7374.

Reception Entry

The main point of entry to Faraday is at four years old when children join Reception. We are an academically non-selective school. We don’t have daunting tests for the children joining us in Reception. See our Early Years pupils in action by booking onto an Open Morning.

Book onto an Open Morning and visit the school

You can book onto an open morning before you register if you prefer.

The open mornings last approximately one hour and are an opportunity to meet the Head Teacher and have a tour of the school led by our Year Six pupils

Reception offers are sent out approximately sixteen months ahead of entry

Keep your contact details up to date with the registrar so that you don’t miss out when the offer process begins as contact will be made by email.

Parents are asked to keep the registrar updated with any relevant information regarding their child’s health and development in the period following registration, as detailed in the Admissions Policy.

To accept a child’s offer of a place, parents pay the deposit and return the signed acceptance form, agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Reception Entry Process

Reception Offers are made in order of date of registration, sixteen months ahead of entry. Once parents accept an offer (by agreeing to the terms of the parent contract and making payment of the deposit), children and parents have two opportunities to visit school at the Spring and Summer Stay and Play Events.

The process is outlined below with a timeline for Reception entry

Receiving & Accepting Your Offer

We begin making offers sixteen months ahead of entry into Reception. Offers are sent out in order of date of registration (with siblings of current pupils given priority).

To secure the place, payment of your deposit will be due within 10 days of your offer, along with signed agreement to terms of parent contract.

Note: A place cannot be secured without payment of deposit and submission of the signed acceptance form (to agree to terms of parent contract).

SPRING STAY & PLAY

Meet & Greet Stay & Play

All children whose places have been accepted are invited to school in February for a stay and play session. This is an opportunity to meet teachers and potential classmates.

Parents are asked to advise the school of any relevant updates in their child’s needs (medical or developmental) since time of registration.

Please refer to our Admissions Policy.

Children joining Reception in September and their parents are welcomed back to school.
