Admissions for Reception and Nursery
Congratulations and welcome to all the children and families who will start with us next September 23. During the next month we will be contacting all new parents for information visits and play dates to meet their new teachers.

- Thank you for your interest in your child/children joining Woodside Primary Academy.
- Each year our open events have over 200 parents attend, over the various evening and days.
- Please visit our virtual tours tab to view a PowerPoint and some virtual videos about Woodside.
- You will also find to support your choice of school, additional year group specific information for each year group.
- We are happy to provide any help with filling out admissions forms. We welcome any queries and will always provide further information about the school for parents and carers - just get in touch.
- All primary school places must be applied for via Waltham Forest admissions service https://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/services . Once the application is processed by the WF Admissions service, they will contact Woodside, and we will get in touch with parents to arrange a welcome meeting.
In year transfer school applications
Are you looking to move your child to a new school?
If so you will need to do an in year transfer. If your child currently attends a primary school then you will need to apply through the local borough.
If you wish to do an in year transfer to Woodside Primary Academy you will need to go directly to Waltham Forest who aim to process school admission applications for an in year transfer within 15 school days of receiving the completed admission application with the correct supporting evidence.
