Year 6 – 7 Main Round Admission September
We recognise that moving to secondary school for your child is a daunting and often complicated task. Our programme aims to provide as much information as possible. Also, we recommend that you check the website for additional information in the next few months.

For many of you who know the school, EWS will be your first choice. For those of you who are going through the transition process for the first time, please be assured that we are an outstanding school with very experienced pastoral team. We are excited to meet your child and make this a happy experience for them. We are always ready to discuss the admission process as well as EWS itself, should you wish to know more.

Arrangements for all of our students may continue to be adjusted in line with the government guidance. Our first priority at EWS is keeping everyone healthy and safe and so we have at all stages meticulously followed the government’s guidance, we hope this reassures you as much as it does us.

School Tours
Unfortunately, as a response to recent government regulations, we are required to suspend all tours of the school for the moment in order to adhere to Public Health England guidelines. We are hoping to run some bespoke tours in late June and early July for children who have been offered a place in year 7 in September. In order to register an interest in such a tour please email admissions@ellenwilkinson.ealing.sch.ukstating the name of your child and requesting a place on the year 7 tours waiting list.

In Year admissions Year 7 - 11
We understand many families may wish to apply for a place at EWS after the main round admissions in year 7. Parents will need to contact London Borough of Ealing to apply to place their child's name on our waiting list. The waiting list is operated according to our admissions criteria via London Borough of Ealing. Parents can access the appropriate information by visiting the LBE website..

Appeals
Every year we have a number of families who chose to make an appeal for a school place at EWS. This is a formal process with an independent panel. The London Borough of Ealing does not organise the administration of our appeals process, so you will not see EWS listed on the appeals section of the borough website.
