Jayakarta Montessori School

For admission to Jayakarta Montessori School, there are no strict guidelines on a child’s language facility, or academic level. Placement is largely emphasized on age, to ensure that children are in a classroom with their peers, and holding a child back or accelerated placement is only considered a last resort. There are assessments for new children, but this is only to gauge their levels, and address and concerns the teacher may have.

The required documents as outlined in the admission forms are as follows:

For non-Indonesians / KITAS holders:

• Completed Admission form, including medical questionnaire and Waiver of Liability
• Completed parents and students details form
• Photocopy of KITAS of both parents, front and back, and child where applicable
• Photocopy of passports of both parents, and child where applicable
• Any previous schooling transcripts that are available

For Indonesian parents:

• Completed Admission form, including medical questionnaire and Waiver of Liability
• Completed parents and students details form
• Photocopy of child’s birth certificate
• Photocopy of parents’ KTP
• Any previous schooling transcripts that are available
