Admission Process

For new students coming at ALS, registration begins on April 1, onwards from Monday to Thursday 9:00 am, to 1:00 pm. The following documents must be submitted for application:

• Completed application form
• A copy of passport or identity card
• Copy of residence visa ( for foreign students only )
• Three color passport – sized photographs
• Copy of the original immunization record
• Three years of previous school records
• Transfer certificate legalized and certified by the appropriate authorities .
• Letter of good conduct required for all students in Grades 7 to 12

Interview with parents/students are asked to give background details about the student and are encouraged to share any concerns they have regarding the child’s adjustment.

All students from G.1 to G.12 must conduct an entrance exam. Admission depends on the applicants results in the schools entrance exam. The subjects covered by the exam are Arabic, English and Mathematics from grade 1 to 12 in addition to Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from grades 7 to 12.

Kindergarten students are exempted from entrance exams. Acceptance for enrollment in KG 1 and KG 2 is dependent on early year’s interview which is scheduled inpidually by the register / Admission office.

Registration of new students will be canceled if they fail to join the school within the first two weeks. Registration to any class is not final until all the proper documentation is available with the administration and after the approval of the ministry of education.
