Admission and Registration Criteria for
English Medium Instructed Graduate Programs:
Thank you for your interest in the Graduate English Programs at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS). We strive to provide a high-quality education and a supportive learning environment for our postgraduate students.
To ensure a smooth admission and registration process, please review the following criteria:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- The minimum required GPA for admission is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent if the GPA is 2.0 – 2.49 require Studying 4 bridging courses.
- IELTS (academic) 6.0 or TOEFL 79 (Internet-based) o 550 (paper-based) Reading 20/30 and writing 20/30
Some programs may have additional specific requirements, such as work experience or bridging courses. Please refer to the program-specific information for detailed requirements.
Application Procedure:
- Complete the application form.
- Submit all required supporting documents, including official transcripts, degree certificates, CV, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and any other program-specific requirements.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee as specified in the application guidelines.
Admission Decision:
- Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the respective department or program committee.
- Admission decisions are based on a holistic evaluation of the applicant’s academic background, relevant work experience, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and any other program-specific criteria.
- You will be notified of the admission decision via email or through the online application portal.
Registration Procedure:
- Upon receiving the admission offer, you will be provided with detailed information on the registration process and deadlines.
- Pay the required registration fees within the specified timeframe to secure your place in the program.
- Attend the designated orientation sessions and complete any necessary paperwork.
- Students will be registered for their courses by the registration officer.
