How to Apply
We follow a rolling admission process based on space available. Students applying for early childhood classes (PreK-1) must be of grade level age by August 31 of the academic year of entrance. Students applying from schools with calendar year school years (i.e., January or February until November or December) will be considered for admission to the grade that extends their current school year. ICSU does not host exchange students, offer boarding school services, or sponsor student visas. Valid eligibility documents must be updated every year during re-enrollment.
Acceptance Criteria
ICSU admits students based primarily on the following requirements:
- Grades earned on Current and Previous Report Cards
- High-Quality Behavioral and Academic References
- Fulfillment of Korean citizenship eligibility requirements as applicable
- All students applying for grades 2-12 will be tested using the internationally recognized MAP Test (Measures of Academic Progress). Student scores must be at a level that will enable them to be successful in our academic program.
- All students PreK-12 must pass a screening process to determine English proficiency and their potential to meet ICSU’s curricular and academic expectations.
