Process and Procedure
Admission Procedures At MGIS, we aim to make our admission process as smooth and straightforward as
possible. Our Admissions Policy is designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and efficient process for enrolling students, all while complying with the guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of
Oman.
Confirmation of Admission
MGIS will notify Parents through an SMS about the results of the admission assessment test of the students. Parents can view the results by logging in to MGIS system.
Parents of successful students are required to comply with the fill out the admission form digitally into the E-school system and uploadn the following documents
- Student's Birth Certificate: A copy of the official birth certificate (translated into English or Arabic if not in these languages).
- Vaccination and Medical Records (For Nursery, KG and Grad1): Up-to-date vaccination records as per MOH guidelines. Any additional medical documents detailing allergies, special needs, or ongoing treatments.
- Student's Identification: A valid passport copy and National ID card/Resident Card of the student and a valid resident visa (for non-Omani nationals).
- Parent/Guardian Identification: Passport copies for parents and legal guardians. A valid resident visa for non-Omani parents/guardians.
- Previous School Records (For Grades 1 and above): Latest school report or transcript from the current/most recent school attended. Transfer certificate or school leaving certificate (if applicable).
Optional or Additional Documents
- Special Needs or Learning Support Documents (if applicable)
- Any reports from psychologists, therapists, or previous schools outlining the child’s learning or behavioral support needs.
- Proof of Address: A utility bill or tenancy agreement to confirm residence if necessary for transportation.
