The Eastern School, Bahrain (Admissions Guide)

Submission of required documents.
Verification of student documents by admission in charge.
Submission of registration form to admission department.
Admission test will be given and conducted by admission in charge.
Within a week, results of the admission test are declared.
Enrollment shall occur after passing the admission test (If he/she gets a passing score of 60% in all subjects) .
Principal’s approval.
Approval from the Ministry of Private Education, Bahrain (from grade 2 – 12).
Payment of admission and tuition fee in accounts department.

Transfer from Private to Private School:

Parent should make sure all requirements are submitted:
TC application from the parent showing the reason of taking TC, reason of stopping studies.
CPR Copy (both sides)
Acceptance letter from the school which will transfer to.
A no objection letter from previous school showing that TC application is accepted and there are no due payments.
Specialists from Private Education will study the case as follows:
Make sure whether student has passed all subjects or detained, TC will not be accepted before student passing in all subjects (if any detained)
Make sure all certificates, report cards are signed and sealed by an authorized person which Private Education Directorate has their signatures/seals.
Make sure the capacity (seats availability) of the next school.
Make sure the school is taking care of all the rules and regulation issued in 1998 no. (25) regarding the Educational Institutes.
Private Education Directorate will inform the parent whether TC application had met the standards and requirements, if yes, the parent will be informed to complete other TC formalities from the previous school such as pending payments etc. and to provide TC copy to Private Education Directorate to take acceptance form on TC.

Transfer from Government School to Private School:

Parent make sure of the requirements:
TC application showing reason of TC
Last report card from Gov. School
Copy of CPR (both sides)
Accepted letter from school which will transfer to
All other points mentioned procedure no. 2 previously.
Parent will be informed whether accepted or no, if accepted he will be informed to collect the forms.

Transfer from outside Bahrain to private School:

Parent make sure of all the requirements:
- TC & last report card (outside Bahrain) signed, sealed by authorized /official partied from the country coming from such as (MOE, Bahrain Embassy, Ministry of Exterior)
Copy of CPR (both sides)
Accepted letter from next school
Letter issued by private education directorate will be submitted to exam directorate and to the parent for attestation.
Parent will submit the reply of directorate of exam to specialists in private education dir. To complete the procedures.

Transfer from Private School to Government School:

Make sure of the requirements:

Report card from private school sealed & signed by school (+copy)
Copy of CPR (both sides)
TC certificate from Private School
Private Education Dire. Will contact parent to collect acceptance form to submit it to Educational Parties (Primary, Intermediate, Secondary, Continuous Learning etc.)

Important Notes

These Procedures will not include KG students. For KG level only should be aware of seat availability.
