Admissions Process

Required Documents

• Completed application form
• Original birth certificate – electronic copy
• 6 passport size photographs of the student
• Copy of IDs for both parents
• Passport (for non-Egyptians).

This will be photocopied and returned to you immediately.

• Academic reports up until the last completed school term.
• Nursery Report for EC Applicants

Admission steps

Step1- Online Application:

Once submitted you will receive a call from our Admissions team.

Step2- Parent interview and Assessment:

A time will be scheduled with our Admissions staff for a parent interview, and a child assessment.

Step3- Assessment results and Registration:

Depending on the result of the assessment, an initial acceptance email will be issued.

Upon payment of registration fees, and completion of various consent and agreement forms, a final acceptance letter will be sent to you.

Admissions Policy

Our school provides a comprehensive and challenging American and Montessori education for students from ages 3 to 18, with the intention of complementing the American High School courses with the International Baccalaureate in Grades 11 and 12. It is the first school in Egypt to seek Montessori accreditation.

Criteria for Admission

·Students applying to Gateway International Montessori School should be physically, socially-emotionally and cognitively ready to enter into classes according to their age.

·Birthdays should fall within the expected age range for enrollment in each grade level. These age ranges are determined by the ministry of education for each academic year.

·Assessments are conducted by members of our academic team and give us an opportunity to see each applicant’s ability in various fields, and in particular English and Mathematics. Their ability to interact with our team will also be evaluated. This is important as we want to ensure that our curriculum is suited to each individual child’s needs.
