At Tenby International School Setia EcoHill, we believe that a child's attitude towards learning is far more important than aptitude in a specific language or subject area. Therefore, we consider for admission any student who is at least three years old (Early Years) and not older than eighteen years old (for Year 12) on September Ist of any academic year. We are currently open for admission to Year 9 and will add on the other year groups year on year.

Tenby Schools shall consider for admission any student who is at least three years old (Early Years) and not older than eighteen years old (for Year 12) on September Ist (Tenby International School) of any academic year. Tenby Schools are open to all students whose educational needs can be met within the provision of the schools.

Parents will need to attach the application fee upon filing the Application for Admission Form and to schedule a mutually consented assessment date and time.
After assessment (with the approval of the School Principal), parents will be informed of the school’s decision to offer a place at Tenby Schools; a letter of offer and the acceptance form will be issued to parents.
Having been given an offer of a place, the family should confirm acceptance and pay the Registration Fee, Deposit (interest free) and the Term Fees due. Upon receipt the student’s place will be secured.
Admissions Testing
We are non-selective and use the GL Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) as a means of assessing potential, in order to best decide whether our schools will be able to meet a student’s educational needs.
CAT4 assesses a student's ability to reason with and manipulate different types of material through a series of verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial ability tasks. Three online tests are taken during the assessment period and in order to be considered for a place, prospective students will be expected to demonstrate they have at least average potential in these tests. Students may be invited into the school for an additional interview and/or asked to provide further evidence of their aptitude in such areas as English Language and Bahasa Malaysia (Private Malaysian curriculum schools), before a final decision is made. Students will sit the test applicable to the year group appropriate for their age.
There are three possible outcomes:
Re-Admission of Students
Late Admission
Mid-Year Admissions
Acceptance of Records from other schools
Assignment of Students to Classes
Special Needs and Learning Support Students
English as an Additional Language (EAL)
