Admissions Procedure

The admissions procedure below serves as a guideline for parents who wish to enrol their children at Taylor’s International School.

Application

The completed Application Form is to be submitted together with the following:

• A copy of passport-size coloured photographs which are not more than 6 months old.
• A copy of each parents’ passport-size coloured photograph which are not more than 6 months old.
• A copy of Birth Certificate, Identity Card including both parents or Passport and Visa for foreign parents/students.
• Official copy of School Report for the last 3 years.
• A copy of student’s vaccination record.

Assessment

Upon receipt of the application, an appointment will be made to access the child to determine the acceptance and placement of the child.

Age appropriate assessment will be carried out to assess your child’s capability in coping and settling happily in our school. The outcome of the assessment is one of many factors that the School will take into consideration when it comes to placement of your child. The School will have absolute discretion in terms of placement for each and every child. We will ensure the placement for all children is the best and most suitable year groups for each and everyone of our children which will in turn help them to strive in their learning and growth.

Admissions and registration

Upon satisfactory of assessment, a copy of ‘Letter of Offer’ will be issued. The acceptance of the offer must be made prior to the child’s commencement of school. The payment of Registration and Deposit constitutes acceptance of a place and therein confirms the place for the child.

Application Form

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at our school. Please follow the steps below to complete your application.

This application form allows families to enrol online and pay via credit card.
A non-refundable fee of RM1,000.00 will be charged per enrolment.

To complete your application, please ensure you have the following available:

• Copy of birth certificate.
• Copy of school reports and testimonials (if applicable).
  • A copy of the student’s official school leaving certificate and testimonial regarding the student’s character and ability from the current school’s Principal or Class Teacher; and/or 3 years past academic records.
  • Any specialist reports that may relate to you child’s learning, such as an assessment completed by an Educational Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist (if available).
• Copy of national identity card (if applicable).
• Copy of vaccination records (if applicable).
• Copy of court orders and/or parenting plans (if applicable).
• Copy of visa or passport (if applicable).
• Copy of year 10 subject option form (if applicable).
• Student and parent photographs.
  • Photo's to be a recent colour passport-size photograph.
