“A Vibrant Family of Learners”

Welcome to Malvern College Hong Kong! We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child, and we are excited about the opportunity to play a key role in helping your child develop and fulfil their potential.

Malvern College Hong Kong opened its doors in August. For the next to next academic year, we will start with Prep 1 to Hundred (Year 1 to Year 11) followed by an expansion to full capacity of 1,200 pupils, enabling a full curriculum to be offered from Prep 1 to Upper Sixth (Year 1 to Year 13).

Malvern College Hong Kong is open to all pupils within the age guidelines.

In considering applications from prospective pupils, we are dedicated to building diversity and we welcome families of any nationality. We also take into consideration how our values as an institution align with the families of our pupils, so we consider it very important to meet parents and child(ren) as part of the application process.

Malvern Meets & Mailing List

Before you apply to the school, we invite you to find out more about our school and admissions by joining one of our ‘Malvern Meets’ for prospective parents. These sessions are listed here and on our Facebook page. Also, please sign up to our mailing list for the latest information and updates and events about the school.

When to Apply

Applications for the next three academic year are now open for admissions. Parents may apply for a place for your child(ren) two years in advance of the desired year of entry into Year 1, but not earlier.

Priority in Admissions Process

We are looking to build a diverse pupil population and are fully committed to form a vibrant school community.

The following groups have priority for assessment:

  • Corporate Nomination Right (CNR) nominees;
  • Individual Nomination Right (INR) nominees;
  • Pupils who have been attending Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong at least of one year prior to admission to Malvern College Hong Kong;
  • Siblings of pupils already attending Malvern College Hong Kong;
  • Children of Old Malvernians (alumni);
  • Pupils transferring from another school within the Malvern College family – they must have attended the school for a minimum of two years and have strong school reports;
  • Children who bring diversity in terms of nationality, ethnicity, religion, age, and gender.

All children are required to meet the school’s entrance requirement irrespective of priority status, including those nominated under the Nomination Right Scheme.
