The Enrolment Process
The first stage of the enrollment process is to contact Casuarina with your family’s details. This can either be done by phone, email or via our online contact form. Please read our Casuarina Steiner School Prospectus. If you can’t download the prospectus, please contact the school and we will post you a copy.
Book into a school tour or an interview with our school principal. This session will inform you about the education Casuarina School offers and provides the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. It’s a good idea for both parents/carers to attend this session and if you want to bring your child/children that’s a good idea also. You will see the classes in operation and probably see the students at play.
As soon as the Enrolment Application along with supporting documents has been received, you will be booked into an interview with the prospective class teacher for each child. At the interview, the class teacher will explore your child’s development to the present time and the capacity to meet your child’s needs.
The teacher will then advise if there is a place for your child and negotiate a starting date that suits everyone best. On payment of the Enrolment Fee your child is ready to start at our school. He or she will be provided all necessary class materials (at no additional cost, except for any musical instruments).
