Steps to Apply to Buckley's Lower School

STEP 1: SUBMIT AN INQUIRY FORM

Add your family to our admission database.

STEP 2: APPLY ONLINE

Applications are due by December 15. Apply online now. You will be asked to upload a recent photograph of the applicant as well as a family photo.

The $125 nonrefundable application fee must be charged using a credit card. If you feel this fee is an extreme hardship, please call the Admission Office at (818) 461-6709. In the case of separation or divorce, it is necessary for the school to have signatures and parent information for both parents.

We also accept the Standard Application Online (SAO). Please begin setting up your profile and to apply for admission online using the SAO. Please note: Only one application should be submitted. There is no need to submit the Buckley application form if you have already submitted one via the SAO. Your SAO application form will satisfy all of the school's information requirements.

STEP 3: SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW

Look for an email from Buckley with instructions on how to schedule an interview using our online system. All campus tours and interviews must be scheduled and completed by January 29.

STEP 4: ASSESSMENTS

Due to health and safety concerns, additional information about assessments will be forthcoming.

STEP 5: SUBMIT REQUIRED FORMS

Buckley requires teacher recommendations and school transcripts as part of the application process.

Helpful hints:

  • Please print the applicant’s name on the required forms.
  • A parent/guardian must sign the confidential recommendation and release forms.
  • Give the forms to the applicant’s teacher or school official. The teacher/school will mail the information directly to Buckley.
  • All recommendation forms and school records are due no later than January 15.
