How To Apply

Step 1: Submit An Online Application

Apply online for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. While our application deadline has passed, please contact us if you are still interested in applying. Members of the Admission Office would be pleased to work with you as we continue to pivot and adapt to further changes in the current world around us. We will accept late applications on a space-available basis and remain steadfast in our commitment to serving families.

Step 2: Submit The Grade Level Recommendation Forms

• Pre-Kindergarten—6th Grade (Schools should send to: [email protected])
• 7th – 12th Grade (Schools should send to: [email protected])

Step 3: Assessments & Interviews

All grades.

Step 4: Register For The Isee Or Ssat (Testing Is Optional For Applicants To The Next Year.)

For grades 6 through 11 only.

• 6th-11th grade applicants who choose to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) should do so before February 1.
  • Applicants to grades 7-11 at Sierra Canyon may register to take the at-home and online ISEE in January. Contact the Upper Campus Admission Office for details.
  • Applicants may take the ISEE online at home, or at other locations (school sites, Prometric, and at home through Prometric) by registering at iseetest.org using Sierra Canyon School's code: 054121.
  • Applicants may search test locations and register for the SSAT at SSAT.org and indicate that the results be sent to Sierra Canyon.
