Get to know Willowbrook.
We ask that parents read and understand the Willowbrook philosophy and policies on our website when considering our school. If you are in Tokyo or planning a visit, please contact us to schedule a tour.
Complete an application.
If you would like your child to attend Willowbrook, please fill out an application form which can be found on our website. Once completed, please return it to the school via mail, email or in person along with all necessary accompanying documents and an application fee of ¥11,000 (tax included) per child. Please note that applications received after March 31 will incur a new application fee of 13,200 yen (tax included).
Learn about space for your child.
Once the application and fee have been received, we will let you know if a position for your child is available. We accept applications throughout the year. Willowbrook believes in maintaining an optimal student composition in each class to reflect an international learning environment and to support the goals and objectives of each classroom. As such, your child's placement will be based on his/her birthday, language background, and, in some cases, observation. Please note that priority is given to current Willowbrook siblings. As families may transfer in or out of Tokyo during the year, we continuously update our waitlist and stay in close contact with parents of prospective students.
Schedule a parent interview. (By invitation only)
Once we have confirmed a placement for your child, we will schedule a parent interview in person, over the phone, or via Zoom. This interview is to learn more about your child and to review key policies. This interview lasts approximately 30 minutes and is for parents only.
Submit the enrollment fee.
After the parent interview, we will send a confirmation email and an invoice for the non-refundable enrollment fee of ¥220,000 plus tax per child. Payment of this fee secures your child’s spot. Subsequent invoices will be sent for tuition.
Willowbrook celebrates diversity and welcomes all students, regardless of ability. When building the classrooms we balance the students according to language, age and gender. Admission priority is given to:
