The Forest Ridge Admission team is here to partner with you throughout the application process.
As an independent middle and high school, Forest Ridge serves students in fifth through twelfth grades, with our most common entry points being the fifth, sixth and ninth grades. Applicants are also welcome to apply for 7th, 8th and 10th grades, though we cannot guarantee space in those grades. We are committed to a holistic review of all applications, taking into account the vast array of information provided in each student's application.
We use an online application through Ravenna®, a platform that many Seattle-area independent schools utilize in their admission process. Once you create your family Ravenna account, you will be able to check the status of your daughter’s application(s), upload documents, arrange for forms to be sent from your daughter’s current school and register for events.
Early Decision
Forest Ridge offers an Early Decision option for middle school applicants who have chosen Forest Ridge as their first choice school and who would like a decision prior to our official response date in March. By choosing Early Decision, the family agrees to enroll at Forest Ridge if offered admission. Our admission committee prioritizes Early Decision applications and responds with an admission decision within two weeks of submission.
Early Decision applicants can submit their completed application at any point between September 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021.

Note: Forest Ridge evaluates applicants holistically. Our admission committee is interested to know how applicants demonstrate commitment to our mission including engagement with faith, academics, social justice, community building, and personal growth. While we expect our students to excel academically, we know that and there are many ways to show mastery of skills and concepts through our application process. Therefore, Forest Ridge does not require applicants to submit standardized test scores as part of the application.
