Prospective parents are invited to contact the school to arrange a visit during school hours, not only to see the head and staff, but also to sample the working atmosphere of the school. However this does not guarantee a place.
Pupils will be admitted to our part-time Nursery in the September following their third birthday. Rising three pupils may be admitted to our part time Nursery in the term following their third birthday.
Nursery children commence school in small groups, over a few days, in order to ensure their happiness in the process of transferring from the home to school.
Pupils may be admitted to full time school (Reception Class) in the September of the year in which they attain the age of five. The LEA would like to inform parents that a Nursery placement at a school does not guarantee a full time Reception placement at the same school.
Parents are always welcome to make an appointment to discuss their child’s progress through the school office. Admission for older classes can be arranged at any time and parents are asked to consult Caerphilly LA
