The McDonald College

Enrolling at The McDonald College presents students with a unique and exciting opportunity. We provide a strong academic foundation and professional performing arts training that enables our graduates to pursue tertiary education, a performance career, or be well prepared to directly enter the world of corporate opportunities. It is an education and opportunity that no other school can offer.

If you would like to receive an Enrolment Package please complete your details on the Enrolment Enquiry Form and one will be posted to you directly. Please note that there is no enrolment cut-off date and we accept applications throughout the year.

We take enrolments all throughout the year for entry anytime.

The process for enrolment varies slightly depending on the age of your child and their interest. Please click on the relevant links above for more information and to see if your child is required to Audition or participate in a Trial Day.

ALL applications for enrolment at The McDonald College require a parent or guardian to sign the Application Form. The form must be accompanied by documents listed on this page. Payment of the Application Fee must be received before we can process your application.

Note: if an Audition is required for Entry, this must be accompanied by a separate Audition Fee. To check if you are required to Audition, please click on the relevant links above.

Students applying for the Technical production stream need not audition.

DOMESTIC STUDENTS

• A copy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate
• A copy of the applicant’s two most recent School Reports
• A copy of the applicant’s most recent NAPLAN results
• A copy of any Certificates of Achievement in performing arts or Elite Sports (eg, examinations passed or Eisteddfod results)
• One photograph of the applicant
• Proof of payment of the Application Fee

If required to Audition, you may be required to provide additional documentation. Please see the Requirements for Auditions on Campus here; and the Requirements for Auditions via Video here.

Students applying for the Technical production stream need not audition.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

• A copy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate
• A copy of the applicant’s two most recent School Reports
• A copy of any Certificates Of Achievement in performing arts or Elite Sports (eg, examinations passed or Eisteddfod results)
• One photograph of the applicant
• Proof of payment of the Application Fee

In addition to the above, international students are required to supply copies (not originals) of

• Evidence of the completion of AEAS or IELTS testing
• Years 7 – I0 Immediate require an IELTS score of 5.0
• Years 11 & 12 Upper Immediate students require an IELTS score of 5.5
