Successful applicants have outstanding character, academic drive, curiosity, and wide-ranging interests in athletics, fine arts, and community service. Joining our small, close-knit community of leaders and learners gives each Saint James student the opportunity to stand out and the chance to be important.
Follow these five steps to complete the process. Take note of the application deadlines:
*Early decision is binding — applicants who are accepted agree to enroll at Saint James School and withdraw all applications to other schools.
The online application includes your general demographic information, a parent questionnaire, and a student questionnaire.
Submit three teacher recommendations. Recommendations are available through the application portal once the application has been submitted.
Submit official transcripts from this current school year AND the previous school year.
Find a test date and register online at www.ssat.org. Use school code 6514 to have your scores submitted to Saint James.
Visit us on campus! You will have an interview with an admission representative and you may also plan a shadow day or campus tour.
Early Decision
Early decision is an excellent option for students who have already decided that Saint James School is their first choice. Acceptance is binding --- applicants who are accepted agree to enroll at Saint James School and withdraw all applications to other schools.
Please follow the appropriate process below and be sure to select the "Early Decision" option when completing your application.

Students from mainland China applying to grades 10 or 11 will automatically be applying for our wait list; those applications will be considered in the rare case that a current student from mainland China does not return for the next school year.
Once the General Information section of the online application AND the Vericant interview have been received, the Admission Committee will review the information and invite qualified students to personally interview with an Admission officer by Skype, during a campus tour, or during the Director of Admission's trip to Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Interviews and campus visits are by invitation only.
Financial Aid not available for Chinese applicants.
