Welcome To Pilgrim

Thank you for your interest in Pilgrim School! Our school educates students beyond a narrowly-defined set of academic skills. We’ve redefined student success to include the academic knowledge, artistic exploration, and social skills they will need to become inquisitive critical thinkers, collaborative problem-solvers, creative pioneers, strong communicators, and empathetic global citizens.

We invite you to visit our campus to take a tour. As you enjoy the school’s historical architecture, peruse student work in our leading-edge Art Center, and experience the daily life of our school, you will get a good sense of what Pilgrim School has to offer. During your visit, you will see students working collaboratively on projects, parents volunteering their time, and teachers differentiating the curriculum to meet students’ unique interests and individual needs. We encourage you to talk with students and teachers, walk through our FabLab, meet the Head of School, and learn about our almost 60 year history of our thoughtfully-planned educational program and its foundational philosophy.

At Pilgrim, we pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere and making sure our students are involved, kind, and known. If you believe we are a good match for your family, begin your application here or contact Ms. Marissa Viramontes to schedule a tour. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your child, and sharing the wonders of Pilgrim School! Very best regards, Patricia Patricia Kong, M. A., Ed. Pilgrim School Testimonials

"Any school that can see each student as an individual, and be a guide to each child's unique potential, has delivered. If at the same time, the school can provide an environment of support and joyfulness, well then the school has over delievered. Cheers to Pilgrim for doing both." Sandra D./Secondary Parent. "Pilgrim school is a wonderful, caring school. The friendly staff nurture, support and educate the children in an encouraging and positive environment. My daughter loves going to Pilgrim and we are proud to be part of the Pilgrim School family." Alicja A./Elementary Parent

"Pilgrim is so much more than our kids' school. It is a welcoming, caring, thoughtful community. Our children are in their sixth year at Pilgrim, and it is not an overstatement to say it is their second home. From the teachers to the yard staff to the office administration to the other students and parents, they feel supported and encouraged to learn and thrive and to become their best selves. It is a vibrant and stimulating educational environment, where they have found not only a deep love of learning and thinking and questioning, but also a community that makes them feel safe, secure and loved." Rebecca S./Elementary Parent

"Supportive and understanding school administration. Caring and dedicated faculty and staff. Older children demonstrate care and love to the younger ones at Pilgrim." Liyan W./Early Ed parent and Secondary Faculty Member. "Pilgrim School is a very special place, it is not only a school but a place where children come to learn, grow and connect with others in a way that form lifelong friendships.
