The admission process at TMI has been redesigned to allow students and parents to discover all that a TMI education has to offer. With each step of the process, you are encouraged to ask questions about our community as you interact virtually with staff, faculty, and current parents. At the same time, we seek to discover each student’s potential as we learn about their personality, strength of character, extracurricular talents, and leadership abilities. We recognize that each individual has many strengths, so we base our admission decisions on a broad analysis rather than on a few isolated traits.

Virtual Admissions Visits & Tours
Admissions staff members are available to meet with you via phone or a Zoom meeting. During these scheduled visits, a member of the Office of Admissions will cover TMI academics, athletics, student life, and much more. On Campus Tours
Private campus tours will resume this summer at TMI. Tours typically last about 1 to 1.5 hours and include a review of the application process, a look at grade-level curriculum, and a walking tour of campus. Admissions Open House
Each fall, the Office of Admissions hosts an Open House for prospective students and families. Our Open House offers prospective families an opportunity to explore TMI academic offerings, engage with faculty and staff and see all that our campus has to offer. The Current Year Fall Open House will be held on Sunday, October 18th. Registration is available at www.tmi-sa.org/openhouse.
Admissions Preview Days
These parent-only, weekday events offer parents a look inside the TMI experience. During an Admissions Preview Day, parents will hear from TMI administrators and current students, visit various classes to observe instruction, and tour campus facilities and amenities.

Step 1: Request More Information & Virtually Tour Campus
Take the first step and submit an online request for information or call the Office of Admissions at 210-698-7171. After reaching out, a member of the Office of Admissions will contact you to help you learn more about TMI and to set up a phone call or video meeting for you to meet with an Admissions Officer. To see our campus virtually, all families are also encouraged to complete our online TMI Virtual Tour.
Step 2: Submit Online Parent Application & Engage With Current Tmi Parents
All students seeking admission to TW must complete an online application for admission. The parent application form can be accessed on the TMI website. After submitting your application, take some time to get to know our TMI community. Engage with current TMI parents using our online chat feature on the Admissions page. Parents are available to answer questions for both incoming middle and upper school families.
Step 3: Submit Additional Application Requirements
After submitting the online application, TMI requires 3 supplemental items to complete the admissions process.
