If you have questions, would like to request a full admissions packet, or would like to schedule a tour, please contact our Director of Admissions, Amy Smith, via call or email.

Families are encouraged to tour our campus. This can be scheduled through our Admissions Office or by attending an Open House.

Prospective students in Grades 1 and above are encouraged to visit for a Shadow Day. Prospective students are reviewed for admission to The Independent School once the student’s admissions file is complete. Our Admissions Checklist will help guide you through the information we need for this review.

Admissions Assessment

Please register for admissions testing day or schedule an individual time with the Admissions Office. We can often incorporate this assessment during a Shadow Day.

Student Questionnaire

For students entering grades 4 - 12.

Pre-K - Grade 1

One confidential letter of recommendation is required for Lower School applicants Pre-K - 1st grade.

Grades 6 - 12

Middle and Upper School applicants must provide one recommendation letter from a math teacher and one from an English or social studies teacher
