Welcome! We may not be able to host you on our legendary campus; but, we invite you to visit us virtually ...here and now.
Our systematic approach to teaching boys—the R.E.A.L. Learning program—is the Relational, Experiential, Active, and Lifelong foundation for present and future success. In this world's changing academic landscape, we strategically empower boys to tackle life's challenges with tools accessed in our Prep4Ward training. Thought-leaders of today expertly equip young men to: put a priority on their own personal growth; lead with empathy; gain valuable life skills; and diligently seek overall body and mind wellness.
Men of Avon receive deliberate guidance, wisdom, and courage-to-excel from remarkable teachers, mentors, and coaches; in turn, they inspire us—the world—with their excellence.
Explore our campus virtually: talk to teachers and students, and discover why Avon is expert in educating boys. Naturally, we're disappointed we can't show you in person just how breathtaking our campus is—how each classroom teems with the energy boys create while actively learning; but alas, we welcome you to step foot on our virtual campus for an Open House on May 12 at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Riddle’s fortitude and vision in 1927 created the groundwork for an institution that challenges boys in the pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement.
At Avon Old Farms, we understand that boys are relational learners.
Young men at our all boys private high school in CT are free to discover their true identity through the exploration of school life without reservation. Every aspect of our program is engineered to guide and challenge boys to find their niche and passion in life. While our academic curriculum is geared to how boys learn, we also create a foundation for boys to mature emotionally and philosophically.
Our teachers are trained to teach boys how to exercise empathy in every day situations — in and out of the class — at this Connecticut private boys school. Understanding what it may feel like in another person's shoes is essential to building the Brotherhood, and ultimately the community. Boys learn to think beyond themselves here at Avon Old Farms and take the empathy mindset out into the world at large.
