Why MacDuffie?

The MacDuffie School, founded in 1890, is where tradition meets academic innovation. Students in Grades 6-12 receive a well-rounded education from engaging faculty who represent MacDuffie’s mission and values. Our students appreciate the opportunity to explore who they are, who they strive to become, and how to achieve their personal goals.

MacDuffie’s Granby campus features landscaped acres for outdoor athletic and recreational activities, a student center as a space to gather, a cozy library for studying, and top-notch dining services. Traditions like Mountain Day, Diversity Day, Heart Week, the International Festival, and other student-led activities promote understanding and community, and our Arts department host many performances throughout the year.

The MacDuffie School offers big opportunities in a small school community. We seek students who find joy in learning and who are motivated to succeed in an academically challenging environment.
