As you explore our website, we hope you will discover what makes Hilton Head Prep such a special place. Above all, families choose Hilton Head Prep because we are a close-knit community. Students develop meaningful relationships with one another as well as with their teachers, and our parents are actively involved throughout the school. We come together within a safe, supportive environment to form the “Prep family.”

A challenging program that includes rigorous academics, an extraordinary range of electives, and competitive athletics are just some of the reasons that families choose Hilton Head Prep. Our standards are high, but know that the community will encourage and support students as they reach for their goals.

Our students are actively engaged in the learning process from their first day in junior kindergarten to their final exams senior year. They learn how to think for themselves, and when they graduate, they go on to a wide variety of selective colleges. More importantly, they are thoroughly prepared when they get there. Our alumni consistently tell us the skills they developed at Hilton Head Prep set them up for success in college and beyond.

We look forward to working with you and your family throughout the admissions process. In order to help you make this very important decision, we strongly encourage you to tour our campus this fall, shadow a student, and attend one of our open houses.

Shadow a Student

One of the best ways to assess “fit” at Prep is for prospective students to spend the day on-campus. Students see what the classroom environment is like, meet our teachers and current students, learn about fun and exciting special interest activities, and eat lunch on-campus – our treat! We make every attempt to match prospective student visitors with current Prep students who have similar academic and extracurricular interests. Shadow visits can be scheduled for nearly any school day by working with the admissions office.

Testing

Admissions assessments for students are scheduled on an individual basis. Contact our Admissions Office at (843) 715-8505, to schedule your assessment.
