As a safe, close-knit community comprised of 1,150 students and more than 16,000 alumni, Carmel families share a strong tradition of achievement and a rich history of more than 55 years of service and citizenship in Lake County.

Believe.

At Carmel Catholic, we believe in every student’s potential to achieve and contribute. From our Academic Resource Center and multi-level Honors, AP and Dual Credit offerings to our Serna Learning Resource Center serving students with Individualized Academic Plans (IEPs) and 504 Accommodation Plans, Carmel students have the opportunity and the resources to excel.

Embracing our Catholic identity and the values of our founding orders, the Carmelites and the BVMs, Catholic High School is rooted in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Carmel welcomes students of all faiths to explore their potential and purpose. From Campus Ministry and All-School Masses to our transformative retreat programs, Carmel Catholic accompanies our students on their personal journey.

Become.

As one of only two schools in the state and less than ten nationwide to have received the prestigious Blue Ribbon School award by the U.S. Department of Education four times, Carmel Catholic is a center of academic excellence. Carmel Catholic High School provides exemplary academic programs to prepare students for college and careers by guiding them to achieve their potential and discover who they can become.

From dual credit offerings to welcoming our inaugural class of international students, Carmel Catholic expands students' experience from an academic and global perspective. Through extracurricular activities, arts and athletic programs, our students have the opportunity to develop their gifts and talents.
