The school conforms fully with ‘Gwynedd County‘s Admission Policy’

The school admits children to the nursery class on a half-time basis in September following their 3rd birthday and parents are asked to fill an admissions form before the end of March each year. It is also necessary to fill and admissions form to the Reception year group for all children who are already 4 years old before the 1st of September. The vast majority of children who start their school life at Ysgol Maesincla’s nursrey class transfer full-time to the reception class, the following September.

If a new family move to the area or would like to transfer their child to Ysgol Maesincla from another school, they are encouraged to contact the Headteacher to arrange a discussion or a visit to the school. However, in accordance with the ‘Admissions Policy’, the ‘County Admissions Officer’ reserves the right to formally grant or decline any admissions requests.
