Léman Explorers is the ideal first school experience that prepares toddlers for the routines of preschool in a nurturing, play-based environment. Our program fosters strong partnerships between faculty and parents to ensure children build a sense of belonging, confidence and independence as they explore the world around them.

The Center for Early Childhood Education at Léman is housed on two newly-renovated, dedicated floors of our Broad Street Campus. Through our play-based program and hands-on learning experiences, children ignite their curiosity and build a sense of belonging during the most influential time in their development. In addition to the STEAM WonderLab, library and swim, our students receive Spanish or Mandarin instruction from native speakers four times a week.

Our robust academic program provides proficiency in literacy and math, fostered by Columbia University Teachers College Readers and Writers Workshop and an integrated math curriculum focused on problem-solving. Students take French, Spanish and Mandarin, taught by native speakers, in addition to our signature Violin Program, Woodworking, and swim.

Léman Manhattan Preparatory School is the only school in New York City to provide full boarding services for students.
