To begin your application, go to Ravenna and create an account. Make sure to create your account using an email address you will have access to throughout the admission season, as this will be your primary email contact with our school.

Step 1 – Complete Online Application
Log in to Ravenna Hub and create a user portal. Follow the checklist in Ravenna in order to complete our online application and submit documents for your student. Please note – We kindly ask that your requests for recommendations and transcripts not be sent until AFTER the completion of first semester.
Step 2 – Sit for the CCHS Placement Test
The CCHS Placement Test is used for placement of incoming 9th grade students. Only 9th grade applicants for the next academic year are required to take the placement test. We will automatically register each 9th grade applicant for the CCHS Placement Test. If your student is not able to test that day, we will contact you to inform you about a make up test opportunity.
Applicants who apply to CCHS and take the test at CCHS are given priority consideration for admission, scholarship and tuition assistance.
Step 3 – Student & Family Meeting
Sign-ups for student & Family Meetings will be posted for students in the Ravenna portal.
Step 4 – Offer of Admission
Admissions decisions will be mailed to applicants no later than March 15.

Thank you for your interest in Cathedral Catholic High School.Cathedral Catholic High School accepts applications from international applicants (students holding non-US passports) applying for the fall semester only in grades 9, 10 or 11.
We do not typically consider international applicants applying for grade 11, and absolutely do not accept applications for 12th grade.
Deadlines
Completed applications for International students with supplemented documentation in good order must be submitted by May 5, however we encourage interested applicants to complete their application paperwork as soon as possible. We do not typically accept mid-year transfers.
Step 1 – Sit for the TOEFL Exam (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
Step 2 – Complete and return by May 5.
We kindly request that all paperwork submitted to Cathedral Catholic High School be translated into English by a certified translator.
Step 3 – Interview
As soon as the results of the TOEFL and a completed application packet are received at Cathedral Catholic High School, the Admissions Committee will review your student’s file. We will contact you to make arrangements for the international student’s interview (via Skype) with our Director of Admissions. The interview is the last step of the application process, and is not scheduled until the rest of the application is complete. Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis, and typically take place in late April/ May.

Thank you for your interest in Cathedral Catholic High School. Admissions application packets are now available for current high school students who wish to transfer to Cathedral Catholic for fall of the next school year. See admissions application process below for how to obtain an application.
Transfer applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA with no “F” grades on their transcript. Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited school. Transfer students are accepted based on space availability. We cannot guarantee admission.
Cathedral Catholic High School adheres to CIF guidelines and regulations. Please refer to C.I.F. transfer eligibility rules for athletes.
Students entering the 12th grade are typically not considered for transfer to Cathedral Catholic. Please contact the admissions office at (858) 523-4000 with questions in this regard.
Deadlines
Spring semester transfer applications are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please call the Office of Admissions for more information if you would like to inquire about a mid-year transfer.
Fall semester transfers may apply any time for admissions until the end of Maythis year. However, we also encourage interested transfer applicants to complete their admissions paperwork as soon as possible.
Step 1 – Complete and Return
Families are encouraged to continuing working on the remainder of the application through the steps listed below:
NOTE: Failure to return the above items will not affect your child’s admission status, but they are required documents for enrollment.
Step 2 – Interview
Upon receipt of the necessary elements of the application packet listed above, the Admissions office will contact the transfer student for an interview. Student interviews for fall enrollments take place on a rolling basis in March/April/May next year.
Step 3 – Offer of Admission
The Admissions Committee will grant final acceptance on a rolling basis from March through May for Fall next year applicants.
