Welcome to Cairo English School! We are thankful for your interest in learning more about our school, and we invite you to pave the way for your family to join our wonderful and supportive school community.
At CES, you may submit applications all year long. It is advisable to apply as early as possible because spaces do fill up quickly. Our goal is to make the application process smooth, and to reach an enrollment decision at a reasonably quick time.

Eligibility Requirements
- All students, regardless of race, religion, or nationality are eligible for admissions to CES.
- Assessments include social interaction and group play for FS1 up to Year 2 applicants, and CAT4 (English, Math and IQ) testing for Year 4 to Year 11
- When applying for a particular grade level, a student is required to meet the applicable age of that grade. The school may grant some exceptions to age requirements based on a student’s past academic performance.
Required Documentation
The following documentation is required before assessment can take place. This can be presented at the time of assessment.
- Completed and signed application form
- 4 recent color passport size photographs of the applicant
- 1 recent color passport size photograph of each parent
- An original, electronic birth certificate (Egyptians only)
- A photocopy of the student's passport (for non-Egyptians only)
- Copy of the parents IDs / Passports
- Academic reports up until the last finished school term.
- For the last 2 years and this year's current term report (Year FS2-8)
- For the last 3 years and this year's current term report (Year 9-12)
- Nursery Report for FS1 Applicants
All reports must be presented in English (officially translated)
- CES Health and vaccination form to be signed and stamped y the applicant's physician
- Certificate of good conduct
- Attendance Letter
