Step 3: Admissions Counseling and Registration

Following a successful interaction session, the Admissions Department will contact you with an offer of admission for your child. On receipt of this offer letter, you are requested to secure your ward’s seat of admission at Ambassador School, Sharjah with the submission of all the necessary documents mentioned below and complete the payment formalities.

Parents are requested to carry valid Original Emirates ID cards for them (both the parents EID) and the applicant’s EID on the date of admission confirmation.

The admission offer, if not accepted and seat not taken for the applicant within 10 days, is considered to have lapsed the period of validity. Hence, the School reserves the right to offer this seat of admission to the next deserving applicant.

Step 4: Admission Documentation and Confirmation of Admission

As you accept the offer letter, the mentioned documents should be submitted at Admissions Department prior to the fee payment, to secure a seat for the child.

When the child reports to school, the parent’s login credentials are created in various School-Parent communication platforms.

Step 5: Orientation

After completing the admission procedures, you will also be invited to attend an Orientation Program, which is mandatory to attend for all new families along with the new students. This will be intimated in due course, closer to the start of the classes.

Waiting lists

Due to overwhelming response and oversubscribed applications, we are sorry to see applicant names in waiting list in previous Academic Session.

Waiting lists at Ambassador School, Sharjah can be extensive, hence, parents are requested to reserve their ward’s seat at the earliest possible to avoid disappointments at later stages. The School may decide to close applications at any given time, prior to commencement of Academic Session from April.

Please note movement through the waiting lists can be a slow process. However, as soon as a seat becomes available, the admissions team will contact you immediately.

Admission Cancellation

In the rare case that you may wish to withdraw your child’s admission from Ambassador School, Sharjah, we shall endeavor to follow all the guidelines of Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) / Ministry of Education (MOE) and make the process as smooth as possible. Further information will be available on request.

Student Withdrawals

Parents must inform the school Admissions Department in writing, if intending to withdraw children.

If the student leaves school for any reason, the fees will be charged as per the Federal Law of UAE:

  • S/He should pay school fees for one full month if s/he attends at school for two weeks or less.
  • S/He should pay school fees for two full months if s/he attends at school for more than two weeks and less than one month.
  • S/He should pay school fees for three months if s/he attends at school for more than one month.

For students seeking International Transfer, the next Country name should be specified. The school will hand over a transfer certificate in English, attested by SPEA.

The school is not liable to get the Transfer Certificate attested from any other authorities.

Please note:

  • Local transfer certificate will be given after one week from the date of application, subject to approval from SPEA.
  • Outside U.A.E and other Emirates transfer certificate will be given after ten days from the date of application subject to approval from SPEA.
  • Please mention the reason for leaving on the TC application form.
  • Please get the clearance from the necessary departments mentioned on the TC form.
  • End of the year T.C will be issued, three weeks after the announcement of the final result by Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA).
  • The Transfer Certificate can be collected from Admissions Department.

Admission Policy

Admission is open to all students according to seats available, subject to the rules and regulations of the Sharjah Educational Private Authority (SPEA). The students of other nationalities will be considered based on the SPEA and the availability of seats.

Please ensure that you read and understand our Admission Policy prior to submitting your application to the school.

  • Parents must complete the online enquiry form and bring the relevant documents to the school to complete the registration process.
  • Student interactions will be conducted for KG1 and KG2 to diagnose the needs of students.
  • Grade 1 and above, admission is granted on the basis of a test which is diagnostic in nature.
  • Candidates applying for admission must be on a Residence Visa.

Age Criteria

  • Pre KG: 3 years as on 31 of March of the academic year.
  • KG1: 4 years as on 31 of March of the academic year.
  • KG2: 5 years as on 31 of March of the academic year.
  • Grade 1: 6 years as on 31 of March of the academic year.

The documents required at the time of admission are:

  • Passport copy of the student and both the parents (First page and last page).
  • Valid UAE Residency visa page of student and both the parents (stamped on passport).
  • Valid Emirates ID card (both sides) of student and both the parents.
  • Birth Certificate (attested by the UAE Embassy in the respective country).
  • Transfer Certificate (attested by the UAE Embassy in the respective country).
  • Report card (Grade 2 and above).
  • Immunization or Vaccination schedule of the student.
  • Five passport size photographs of the student.
  • One passport size photograph for both parents.
  • Copy of the mark sheet / report card of previous school.

Please carry Emirates ID card in original (Child and the Parents)

Admission stands confirmed only after the above documents have been submitted to the Admissions office.

Pre KG, KG-1 and KG-2 (EYFS Curriculum)

All children are accepted into these groups unless they have exceptional needs, Ambassador School, Sharjah is unable to provide for.

Grade 1 – Grade 5 (CBSE)

To enroll in these grades, the students must have had at least two year’s schooling in a recognized English medium school. Child will be administered a diagnostic test in the three major subjects, viz, English, Math and EVS.

Grade 6- Grade 10 (CBSE)

To enroll in these grades the students must have had at least regular schooling in a recognized English medium school. They will be administered a diagnostic test in the three major subjects, viz, English, Math and Science.

Transfer Certificate Requirements

Student seeking admission from India must submit Report Card and Transfer Certificates in Original

The documents must be submitted after the result of the final exam with attestation from the following authorities:

  • Ministry of Education / CBSE Board / District Education Officer / Zonal Education Officer. (INDIA) (Mandatory)
  • UAE Embassy in India/ Ministry of Foreign Affairs in India OR
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE/ Indian Consulate in Dubai.

Students seeking admission from the O level schools. (British / American curriculum)

Transfer Certificate has to be submitted before 30 July and student should join school in September.

Student seeking admission from local emirates (Sharjah)

TC has to be attested from the previous school and other documents are same as mentioned above. Report card must be signed and sealed by the school authorities

Student seeking admission from other Emirates (e.g. Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Northern emirates)

TC has to be attested from the previous school and other documents are same as mentioned above.

Student seeking admission from USA and Europe countries

  • TC attestation is required for the students, coming from USA, Canada, New Zealand and European Countries.
  • They should have a letter from the school and the original mark sheet of the last exam written.

Student seeking admission from other GCC and other countries.

Report Card and Transfer certificates to be submitted after the result of the final exam with attestation from the following:

  • Ministry of the Education of that country.
  • UAE embassy in that country.
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country.
  • Embassy of that country in UAE.

Date of payment of fees:

  • Before the start of the new Term and as informed by the Accounts Team with the submission of Post Dated Cheques (PDC) for the rest of the Terms.
  • For pre-approved monthly payments, by the 5the day of each calendar month except for July and August with the submission of PDCs for the rest of the Terms.
