King's Edgehill School

The application for admission to King’s-Edgehill School involves several components. In order for a student to be accepted, all aspects of the application procedure must be complete:

• Application Form
• Academic Records
• Entrance Test
• Interview (in person or by phone/skype where distance is a factor)
• Medical Form

Steps to Apply

Step 1: Complete Application

Complete the online application form. We have waived all application fees.

Step 2: Academic Records

Take the confidential Academic Records form to the principal, head of guidance or teacher at the applicant’s current school, and ask that the completed form and academic reports be mailed directly to King’s-Edgehill School.

Sign the parent authorization section of the form in advance, directing your child’s school to release the necessary information. Parents are reminded that full disclosure of all information pertinent to their child’s application (academic, social, etc.) is expected. Failure to do so could result in withdrawal of an offer of admission or in dismissal.

Step 3: Schedule Tour, Entrance Test & Interview

Please contact the Admissions Department (kmoore@kes.ns.ca or 902-798-2278) to arrange a tour of the campus and an interview. One or both parents or guardians should accompany the applicant. Whenever possible, we encourage a prospective student to visit for a day. The applicant would tour with a current KES student, attend classes, enjoy lunch and then return to Marshall House to write the entrance test and interview with our Headmaster. While the prospective student is visiting, the Director of Admissions or the Associate Director of Admissions will conduct a separate tour for parents or guardians.

All students whose first language is English are required to take the entrance test and all boarding applicants who cannot travel to the Windsor area may take the test under the supervision of a responsible individual in their home area. If it is necessary for you to do this, please notify the Admissions Department.

Credit Card Payment Options

Payments to KES Just Got Easier!

We are excited to announce that credit card payments are changing at KES. We have partnered with Plastiq, an online payment provider, to allow you to use your existing credit card to make payments more conveniently through their secure online system. By partnering with Plastiq, we can offer you the option to make payments for tuition and other items by using your MasterCard, AMEX or Visa card. Plastiq will be charging you a convenience fee.

Making payments with the Plastiq system is similar to making any other online credit card payment. To make a payment:

• Click on the Plastiq PAY NOW button below and you will be linked directly to the KES Plastiq payment site.
• You will receive a confirmation email detailing the transaction, and all charges will be clearly indicated on your credit card statement.
• Payments made with this method can take 5-7 business days to be processed to your account, so please ensure that a sufficient amount of bank processing time has been allowed for to meet the due date deadline.
